How the rates work

  • Mesoranger dailies — ~100K traces per day if you complete all dailies on a funded main.
  • Weekly bossing — top-tier Pitched bosses contribute additional trace damage; the default 700K/week assumes daily Mesoranger + a full CRA → Hard Lucid → Hard Will rotation.
  • Hard Lomien — drops 1 Black Heart per monthly clear. Black Heart gates are independent of trace damage — even at 100% traces you can't liberate without enough hearts.
  • Edge cases — events that boost trace damage (anniversary, summer events) speed this up considerably; the default rate is conservative.

When Liberation pays off

Liberation 1 is the highest ROI step — it converts an Arcane Umbra weapon into a Genesis weapon with significantly higher damage scaling. Liberation 2-4 are smaller stat-upgrade tiers. If your stat plateau is at Hard Lucid or Hard Will, prioritize Liberation 1 over additional Pitched gear — the damage uplift is larger.
